Now that we are past the Olympia 2018, and the holiday season is around the corner, many bikini competitors are looking forward to a little time away from the stage. It’s an opportunity to rest, recharge, reevaluate, and even enjoy some holiday treats. But, we have to be careful about how we reintroduce calories to the body after a period of significant dieting. The Reverse Dieting process should be slow, and methodical as your body’s metabolism has changed. Just like it took you months to diet down, it should take months to reverse course. Your metabolism will respond in kind by increasing as your calorie intake increases. Rushing the process with a slower metabolism will cause your body to store excess calories as fat.
